If this needs to go in off-topic, so be it. Those of you who were vendors last year, how did you do the CA tax thing? I'm thinking about getting a single table for next year's CGE, but I don't know if the complexity of taxes would make it worth it.

Actually, I'll drop this into the CGE Forum where it may get more appropriate replies.

I was thinking about doing this to, but decided not to. I wouldn't recommend it just because then you have to sit behind that counter all day. You can't go out and hang out with the DP crew, meet new people, play arcades. I'm not trying to rain on your parade or anything, just saying, if you enjoy hanging out with everyone I wouldn't recommend doing it.
Sorry I can't answer your question, just figured you might wanna think about that.

Taxes are actually REALLY easy at CGE. The organizers take care of all of the paperwork and simply drop by at the end of the show to pick up the taxes you collected. It makes life much easier for the vendors.

Thanks Jarett! I don't mind not hanging with people during CGE, that's what the after party is for 8-)

My way around this over the years has been to have an area where THEY come to YOU. :)
Sorry for getting to this thread late. We're actually working on a new vendor document right now which I'll forward along to anyone who's considering it.
