I have a personal policy of never buying anything on eBay unless I have seen a proper photo of the item first. Satisfed with the picture, I then go and read through the auction.

well.. i dont always read the descritipion that closely. Like I recently bought something and I didnt see that the guy didnt accept Paypal (who will sell on Ebay in USA without having Paypal? :/) because i assumed that he took Paypal. He had over 180 in feedback. 99% of all Ebay'ers have Paypal.

As much as the buyer is to blame for not reading the auction description eBay seems to allow auctions like these by allowing auctions with deceiving titles.

There are som internet filters out that will remove sertain words i think. If you are afraid that your kids might read "bad" words, I would recommend to install one of these :)
