Why? So that you can use some of those nifty milky gel roller pens. For instance, light green is barely visible on white paper, but on black paper, it looks great. That's probably why there are black post-its.

Well, fuck.
I saw this a while ago, and boredom and inspiration combined in me, as they so often do, and usually with such horrific results.
Now I've got the beginnings of a GIGANTIC white mage in pastel Post-Its on my dormroom wall.
Eh, it's not like I really bothered to pretend to be socially acceptable anyway.
