I remember when TRU was selling sega 32x, virtual boy, sega cd, jaguar, and other consoles that bombed for 20 bucks but im wondering what they did with them because i remember that they didnt sell well even with the low price tags.

Trust me, they sit around until they are sold. My TRU still has one or two NGPC systems in it, and those have been there since I got MINE there when the GBA launched.

Is the NGPC 4 pack or whatever hard to find? Some little shop still has them in my town.

Sitting behind the counter in the glass case.

No its not rare. What does asking about the NGPC 4 pack and a little small shop have to do with TRU?

TRU is a business that is getting ready to go bankrupt. They are being filled stocked to the brim with unsold crap from the parent company. I think I've even seen junky overpriced portable DVD players there.
Everything is priced MSRP up and sometimes less.. My TRU has Game Gear (!!!) games for $10 each. This is so when they dump TRU the stuff that would be .10 cents now will be COUNTED as $10.
TRU in my town still STILL has a Saturn thing hanging from the ceiling over the game department.. I swear, if it was allowed I think the 2 employee's working the store during the X-Mas season would have had a keg blocking a checkout lane.

Hmm
Back in 2000 I was in a Kmart and noticed a yellow box up on top of the old video game case. So I climbed up and found myself a brand new 32X.
When I got it to the counter it rung up $9.99
Haven't done any climbing lately :)

Damnit, Raedon don't diss the Longview TRU! That's the TRU with employees stupid enough not to mark anything with the green tags. Let's just say I scored BIG on that 90% sale there. The second time I hit up that store however, this one guy that looks like he needs a "will work for beer" sign told me he doesn't know if they will be putting out any new 90% games from the back because he just started today. I seen him stock the damn strategy guides 2 days prior to that. O_O

I remember seeing a ton of Majesco re-releases and a couple game gears a few years back. Though all that stuffs long gone now. :(

Some stores owned by individuals. I found a place around here with like, 20-30 new 32x's.

Do they still have any 32x's left in stock? How much do they want for one?

Have I mentioned the $45 copies of Majestic I've seen at some TRUs? (Yes, that's Canadian dollars, but Majestic's service was discontinued years ago!)
I'm still hoping the local shop will finally bring the price down on that copy of Loom that's been sitting there for the last few years. (Don't get too excited; it's an Ubi Soft rerelease.)

Last time I was in K-Mart they had TONS of SNES and Genesis Controllers and Cables. Most first party, a few of those Turbo Button ones. Most TRU stores and Mediaplay stores have A lot of the Later SEGA Dreamcast titles, and 2000+ release N64 titles. Mediaplay had a TON of Bomberman Hero, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Star Wars Racer, Xena, and Banjo Tooie games... then they disapeared when they rearranged the "Game Zone"
Virtual On and Net-Links galore too! (Plus SEGA Sports titles)

My Kmart hasn't had that stuff in a while. Makes me wonder how long we'll have GameCube, PS2 and Xbox stuff when the next generation is nearing its own end.

The last console I bought from there was my side mounted Sega CD back in 1998. On sale new for $20!

Mine still has DreamCast games sitting there (In bad condition) for three times as much as they are on eBay. Nothing good, just your usual Sega GT, VF3tb, and MSR... Oh, and Footy games! Lol!
Some stuff is sale or return though, so they simply send it back to wholesalers who redistribute them.
I remember one day when they had shelve's full of Paper Mario's, Mario Party 3's, Pokemon Stadium 2's, Conker's, Banjo Tooie's - Then next day they were all gone! The were previously selling the games fo full RRP, so I doubt they dropped the prices, so I reckon the games just *Disappeared*!

Only older odd thing I've found was a copy of Panzer Dragoon for Tiger R-Zone at Kaybee toys today.
Now I just need an R-Zone.....
