Earlier in the week I picked up the holiday Outlaw Golf at TRU for $5. I saw a handful of PSX games at a Big Lots, I thought that was somewhat odd. The only games they had were newer releases from the past year or so. I picked up Largo Winch (horrible!), and Board Game: Top Shop. Both games were $8.
That Top Shop game was surprisingly good. It's kind of like Monopoly, but with a lot more strategy involved. It's certainly worth the $8 if you can find it, I've never seen this game elsewhere.

I also picked up 3 Commodore 1581 drives with power supplies for $7 CDN each. Also going to the 'bay. I'm going back to the same goodwill today to get some Commodore 1750 memory expansions which were $2 each.

Let's see, I got a bag of NES games for $7 and in it was:

Excitebike
Rad Racer

Mickey Mousecapades
Tetris 2
Mega Man 6 :)
And 2 SNES games for $3 which were nothing special:
Spiderman Xmen Arcade's Revenge
WWF Wrestlemania Arcade
And I picked up a few 2600 carts I needed (and some I didn't oops!) for .95 each, nothing too rare, mostly Sears versions. I did get an extra copy of Gyruss and Spiderman, if anyone needs them.
My token bizarre find:
a sealed Quadraphonic 8-track of Al Hirt's Greatest Hits for .45. Too weird to pass up.

I found Micro Machines, Gun Smoke, Bionic Commando, Spy Hunter, Quattro Adventure, and about 9 other good ones which I traded for with my doubles (Blades of Steel, Bill Elliots NASCAR, golf, hoops, etc) I almost soiled myself when the guy at the pawn shop traded 1 for 1 with my crappy doubles!

I wish I hadn't missed the "best find of the year" poll, because this one is pretty good.
At my local salvation army, i picked up this:
-SNES system with 2 controllers and hookups
-Earthbound
-Romance of the 2 kindoms 4 by KOEI
-Operation Europe by KOEI
-Super Metroid
-PTO 2 By KOEI
-Super Mario World
-Super mario kart
-Super Black Bass
-Super mario 2: yoshi's Island
-Super Black bass
All for..............12.75!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Super metroid alone is worth double that, not to mention earthbound, the system, and all those rare KOEI games. Poor old women behind the desk, had no idea what she was selling. I was a gitty as a school girl. I didnt understand why all those KOEI games wheer together. They all came from a video store in Kodiak island in Alaska. Crazy eh? good for me though.
