Did anyone else catch this on HGTV?

On their special "Incredible Basements", they featured an "80's Arcade Paradise". The guy's basement was 2,000 square foot, and hols 40 games. To be honest it wasn't the coolest decor I've ever seen in a gameroom (white walls with a few strobe and police lights) but holy kamole the game selection was unbelievable. Pretty much every classic game (Star Wars, Asteroids, Space Invaders, Ms. Pac-Man, Tempest, etc) was there.

Here is a link to a short review of the show. All the basements featured on the show were incredible. Check your local listings to see if this reairs anytime soon.

Heh... actually, I think he's moving and was having his last arcade party tonight (probably playing them right now) before taking it all down... too bad I'm on the other side of the country, it'd almost be worth the plane ticket to be there :) . Hopefully he'll set up another wherever he ends up moving though, that place looks awesome!

HOLY SH*T :eek 2:

Both of those are absolutely insane!!! The 2nd one actually looks just like a real Arcade, while the one on HGTV just looks like someguys basement with a ton of games in it. Either way, those guys have alot of cash on their hands, and know how to spend it!!!

Been there, it truly is something to behold. He lives probably 50 minutes from me but I used to live a lot closer. He actually has to bring the games up in groups to avoid tripping his master circuit breaker.
