will this work? I have PAL snes games, i am considering getting a PAL snes from someone on gametz, but I need to know how compatible this will be with a usa television. I have a step down converter for the voltage, but will it be on the wrong frequency for my television? do i need to install a switch mod on the PAL snes?

any help here would be appreciated.

You'll actually need a step-up transformer for the voltage (as the power supply is 110V where you are, and the SNES transformer will be expecting 220-240V) unless that's what you have and you just got the terminology wrong here ;)

As for getting a picture out, you'll need a device that support PAL output. Or R.G.B, and find a cable to connect the SNES to said R.G.B accepting device. Or a PAL->NTSC convertor.
