Myself I've never heard of it, been a PS2 gamer since early 2002 and own 108 games for it...and just a bit ago looking at my local pawn shop and saw nothing interesting except this but wasn't sure if it was just a piece of crap or something really rare I need to grab?.

Maybe write alittle more than just "no".
Same here, this is the only beach bandit game for PS2 i know about and i'm pretty sure its the only one.
Explain how the game you found looked like. Maybe you are mixing up some titles?

Yea that is it, I didn't notice the rocky part at the beginning, it's more of a kids game that isn't very rare at all.
