I have a copy listed on ebay and someone asked me a question, is Mario's tennis playable with two players with the game link? Is this a two player game at all?

As far as I know, there are no 2 player VB games, and no game link was ever actually produced for retail.
Might be different in Japan though.

Heh... thanks :) . Correct, there is no 2 player games as far as anyone knows... I've dug through unused code, watched for activity on the link port, and connected games together with my own link cable and nothing supports 2 player :( . I've written my own games to use the link port, and it works great.
I've still got some hope that we'll see some retail games with link support in the future, either patching an existing game that they removed link support at the last minute (so the 2P code is still there, just disabled), or a prototype game with link support. I'm not holding my breath for the prototype, so I'll just keep hacking away at the current ROMs, and making my own games with two player support.
