NES Problem

i was told this might get a good responce here,so here goes...

so i have a top loader that i got a few years ago.i haven't used it in a almost year and hooked it up today.it works and everything,i am just getting a static sound in the backround and it is only in black and white.i am sure this is asked a lot but is there anything i can do?thanks in advance.

I don't know if it i'll work for you, but have you tried turning the channel back and forth yet? I know sometimes when I turn on my top loader it too comes in all staticy and crappy like that, but if I just change the channel or adjust the RF a little better then it usually fixes the problem. Then again, it's probable something more then that.

i unplugged the chords and blew into the system a few times and now it has been working fine.so yay for that.

Sounds like it was a loose connection. How good are the cords? If you're using crappy or beaten up a/v cords, that will cause this every time.
