I played against Yash and VACRMH yesterday, and I gotta say that this is my favorite game on the xbox now, hands down. Hyper SF2 has so much nuance... beautiful.

... I gotta go play more.

Yes, no doubt, after playing Adam and butta last night I'm completely hooked too. I'll be on most weeknights (except for tonight, ironically enough) and my record is terrible because I drop everytime somebody picks Akuma.

god, I'm working hard on my third strike skills, but dear lord do I suck hard. And I can't get the hang of the parry method :(

To parry online you gotta be a little quicker with it as opposed to offline, even in a great connection.

I mostly play Third Strike.

I've played nearly 3000 TS matches, and only 100 or so Hyper matches.

Anyone want to play now?

OK, what game do y'all primarily play? I stick to Third Strike. I'll occasionally play Hyper SF2 but between all the Sagat turtlers and WW 2-hit dizzies, well, I don't like that much cheese on my pizza. I got no problems playing my DP frenz in Hyper, but you'll have to wait for me to respond to the invite because I'll be switching over from Third Strike, heh.

Hyper is my shit, just because SF2 is more fun for me. Well that and I can't find anyone I really like in 3rd strike aside from Elena, who pretty much sucks ass.

I'll play. I haven't played SF2 for close to a decade now, but hopefully I can come back "up to code".

I got SF2 Anniversary in exchange for Hitman Contracts (which I bought previously at Hastings for $9.99, because all of the used copies had varying prices on them, from $9.99 to $19.99 to $29.99 and $39.99.) I wasn't aware that you could return non-defective used games until last night. The store said yes, and when they scanned Hitman Contracts for the return/exchange, it came up as $29.99.

So I exchanged it for SF2 Anniversary! Lucky me!

Yashiro, I can help organize one of the brackets if you plan on doing it this way. Sounds like we got enough players for both too, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Hopefully I can get my buddy to replace my stick's parts with superior ones beforehand...can't stand default Pelican parts, but I loved the parts they used at Wizzards arcade before they closed.

We have enough demand to do 2 8-seed tournaments, but not enough to do 16-seed tournaments, so 8 it is.

If the website isn't showing you as confirmed, you need to confirm your spot in the tournament. It's on a first come first served basis.

I was playing someone else when I got your invite, that's why I left after 3, but when he was in another match and you challenged me I figured I'll take a few more beatings.

I couldn't even beat Twelve.

Poke and mixup game in the corner fucks me up. Good stuff.
