On page 22 of the April 2005/issue 190, look at the bottom-right-hand corner of the page. Whoever had the auction for the "DS with Rayman, Mario, and Ridge Racer" that ended up being an N64 made it into EGM this month. The bet part is that somone wrote a letter to EGM about how this auction was fake.

hey I don't see EGM on that many stand sin my area to check it out, so can someome PM me and spoil the April fools thing. I dont think anything will ever be as good as the Sheng Long thing, but I'm curious as to what they came up with.

God no. You'll mention DigitPress, and the same thing will happen the LAST time we got mentioned in EGM.

We'll get a huge influx of idiots peppered with very few actually intelligent people, and it will take months to weed them out.

Wasn't it GMR? Last time I remember seeing Digital Press in EGM was way back in 2000 or something.

I dunno about EGM, but the April fool's joke in CGW this month was a very easy to spot 2 page spread that was particularly hilarious. It made me wish that it was an ad for a real game instead of a joke. I got a big kick out of it.

I think you should write to EGM. They'll probably give you something really cool for free. Probably not a DS, but maybe you could get a free DS game. If it was me, I'd be writing to them to claim my 15 minutes of fame right now.

It helps if you've seen the ad. I could try to scan it, but it probably wouldn't be worth all the trouble. Just pick up the April issue of CG and check it out. You don't have to buy it. You can just read it at the store. I wish they had made an actual game of it, and put it onto a demo CD with the mag. That would've been even more funny. But it's still hilarious that they did all this!
