Random Game O' the Day: Fear Effect 2

Wednesday's official random game generator has chosen a title I have no personal experience with, so you'll have to fill me in. It's Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix for the PlayStation.

I played through the original Fear Effect, and know from our database that this sequel may be the first game to feature openly gay characters... but that's about all I know.

Ever play it? What are your thoughts on this game?

I've got both Fear Effects. I liked the first one better than the second. Kinda' reminded me of a cross between Syphon Filter (story type) and Resident Evil (graphics wise). I liked the "precursor to cel-shaded" graphics.. but hated the darn conrol movement/interface (clunky and awkward.. like RE).
