Check out his feedback!

He's bidding on this

ed4real is is just trying to win this Magical Chase. Anyone on here win any of his other auctions? I mean c'mon he's listed these items several times (and they've sold!) so why the repeated relists?

Truthfully, I dont know. Reading more it seems buyer insisted to have item sent first (and seller had ZERO feedback) so I just dont know! Any input would be helpful! It's just weird that he happens to have all of these rare items up for sale at the same time with so many relists in a week or two time period.

It's funny that you bring this up, because I was reading his feedback last night after running across his Darius Alpha auction. Something seems to be up, because he has negs from two unique users as his last feedback. Maybe the guy's account got hijacked or something...

It IS weird. D_N_G said he used to buy (w/perfect transactions) from him. Any detailed input from D_N_G?

EDV4REAL is *not* a scammer.
Yes, I am sure he has a sealed Magical Chase.
I got my US Dynastic Hero from a guy who got it from him, so he definitely has the goods.

My email to EDV4REAL:
Dear edvforreal,
Hello, I saw this item for sale, but then I noticed another one for sale, and you are bidding on it! What gives? Something fishy seems to be going on, and in light of your recent feedback I am reluctant to bid on your item. Why are you bidding on the same item that you are selling? Do you even have one of these? Thanks.
Response #1 Today at 2:58 pm
YES LOL I OWN A SEALED ONE AND ITS ALWAYS AN INVESMENT TO GET ANOTHER FOR THEIR RARITY
Response #2 Today at 3:20 pm
THE FEEDBACK 1ST LEFT WAS FROM A GUY WHO BOUGHT DARIUS APLHA HE WANTED ME TO SEND HIM GAME 1ST I SAID NO HE SAID SRRY CANT PAY I LEFT NEG. FEEDBACK. 2 ND GUY HAS ALL FAKE INFO HR NEVER INTENDED TO PLAY . I LEFT EMAILS THEN FINALLY CALLED HI, AND PHONE IS OUTTA SERVICE. PAYPAL AND EBAY BOTH COVER YOUR PURCHASES I DONT UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM. ANYHOW YOUR CHOICE ~~~
Response #3 Today at 3:26 pm
I OWN 3 OPENED 1 SEALED AND THE 1 ON EBAY MB MY FOURTH U DONT WANT TO BID
THEN DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, I thought I was very cordial with my inquiry, and his first response seemed likewise, but this guy seems to have an anger management problem. My first thought was that he just driving up the other auction so people would bid on his. Now I don't know what to think.

I don't see anything wrong with edvforreal's actions, selling or buying.
Looks like bryant-dante is the real ass here. Wouldn't surprise me if h_a_l_o2 is a fake account bryant used just to get back at ed. He BINed 3 of eds auctions with no intention of paying, just so he could rush in and leave negative feedback.
h_a_l_o2 logged in and ended the $500 Magical Chase auction only 2 minutes after bryant-dante had posted his negative to ed.
And if you look at the info there, h_a_l_o2 posted negs before ed, so he could have tried to work something out if he was a real bidder which he was not. I think it's pretty clear.
Look at the last auction h_a_l_o2 bid on the Darius Alpha it was bid on 2 hours after the first two bids came in, & well after they had been reposted. He ended that $500 auction, and then sent to quick negatives to ed only 3 minutes later. Just looks to me like ed got mixed up with a jackass on ebay, not that ed has done anything wrong at all.
shitty title for this thread too. x_x

O.K I understand all of your logic. I am changing the name of the thread as to not burn his image. I apologize to ed and any others this damaged. I am glad you are able to see these things, you guys are like Sherlock Holmes! ONCE AGAIN EDFOREAL is an O.K. GUY!!!! HE HAS ONE GUY OUT TO RUIN HIS IMAGE AS A KNOWN GOOD SELLER! Thanks for all the information fellas!

I see thay some people are coming to this guy's defense, but he sounds like a trolling douchebag to me. There is no reason for an e-mail like this, except to try to scare Dr. Wily away from an auction.

You guys are going crazy there on the bids. Looks like his proxy is $350. Funny thing is, his Magical Chase auction is down to $450 BIN. He keeps dropping the price, don't know why. He must really want to sell it. If you are going to spend $355 on a loose one, you might as well spend $450 on a sealed one. i think that's what he is trying to do.

IMHO Ed is a good guy, Hey used to buy big lots with rare games and does have multiple copies of things due to this. I have no personal investment in defending the guy. But i had a perfect transaction with an expensive game last July. It was a BIN and didnt even have a picture and required immediate payment.
It didnt seem like English is his first language from his emails, but he was friendly and even offered to sell me other games i needed for my collection at a good price. I would definitely give him the benefit of the doubt, if I were to purchase another item from him.

UPDATE: Ed has withdrawn his auctions saying the items no longer for sale. Something smells about all of this. Moreover, just before he withdrew them, Magical Chase was down to $450 new/sealed. Why would you drop it down to that much, when you are bidding on an open, incomplete one for $400?
I know some of you have had good dealings with him, but I just don't like the looks of all this, and his behavior towards everyone, particular towards DrWily and myself.

It is funny...he kept on e-mailing me saying.........."Dear drwily008,
IM SELLIN BRAND NEW Q AS WE SPEAK CGECK IT FACTORY SEALED MAGIACAL CHSE!
Thank you,
edvforreal"
And then!!!........."SEE IM HIGH HIGH BIDDER!!! ON MAG CHASE BUY MINE PLZZZZZ 450 FACTORY SEALED!!!"
Yet another......"Dear drwily008,
BUY MY MAG CHASE SEALED OFF EBAY ND I SELL U DARIUS for 1000 UP 2YOU AT LEAST MAGICAL CHASE
Thank you,
edvforreal"
Can anyone here explain why he would bid $400 USD for a incomplete one and be selling one at the same time for $450 factory sealed. And then the e-mail for BOTH OF THEM (Darius Alpha & Magical Chase) for $1000, when listed separately they would have cost me $900....what a deal! These are his exact words (copied letter for letter from his emails direct to me). I dont like him! And thats a fact.

I think I'll stand by my original theory: He was driving up the price of the used Magical Chase while at the same time lowering the price of of his sealed Magical Chase in the hopes that you would have realized, "Hey for $50 more I can get a complete, sealed Magical Chase, I might as well buy Ed's rather than this one." Notice how he was bid up to $400 on the loose item and the last price of his sealed copy was $450? Your emails only confirm my suspicions. Ed is not to be trusted, and it appears that he may have broken ebay's policies himself. We'll see if he acutually ends up winning this auction. I wouldn't be surprised if he withdraws his bid, or a mysterious noob with 0 feedback bids over him and wins. That's just my two cents.

I have seen this type of behaviour before with Turbo stuff.. although the username(s) were "ozzadnar" and "muzicmajr"...
It was back in 99 and I was selling new Duos... this ozzadnar asshole would bid my auctions up to $500 (with the 2 accounts mentioned above) and then he would list a USED Duo with a BIN of ~$450 - once someone bought it, he would cancel his bids on my auction...
drwily008

If he cancels his bid(s) on the auction, AM I OBLIGATED to buy it? That would suck! The guy selling the Magical Chase is a real winner himself. I just won the bidding on his Bomberman 93' which was supposedly mint complete. So I bid until I won and sometime in between my first bid and my winning bid he EDITS HIS AUCTION to say this: "NOTE: BOMBERMAN 93' HAS ONLY A PRINT OF THE FRONT COVER AND NOT THE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTION BOOKLET OR ORIGINAL JEWEL CASE. BOMBERMAN 93' IS IN PERFECT SHAPE AND PLAYS PERFECTLY THOUGH". Since I had already checked the auction good, I felt no need to recheck it over and over everytime I placed a bid. I paid for it already but if it doesnt get here.........grr. People piss me off sometimes. Oh well you learn from these lessons in life :D
