The power adapter reads as follows:

Output:

Pin 1: +5V DC .9 Amp.

Pin 2: -5V DC .1 Amp.

Pin 3: +12V DC .3 Amp.

Pin 4: Ground.

I understand basic electronics, and have successfully converted an Atari 7800, Atari 5200, NES, Coleco Alien Attack, Atari Stunt Cycle, several pre-programmable consoles, and several other things to run off a 12 Volt battery, but I have no idea what this means. Neither did the people at Radio Shack.

Help?

It means it's very special. If you can make a cheap or easy to reproduce substitute, you will be a hero.

LOL

This looks like a job for Newcoleco, Opcode, or Sean Kelly!

This one's bugged me for a while. Wouldn't it be possible to just use an arcade style power supply or am I missing something obvious. It has all the necessary voltages, costs no more than $20, and should hold up to pretty much whatever you throw at it.
