Shenmue the Movie....Movie...(Yeah it would be horrible then the voice acting already is I'd say)
Panzer Dragoon the Movie would be a flop...it could be done right...but I think some people forgot "Dungeons and Dragons" with Marlon Waynes..

To many games that would make TERRIBLE movies.

I was thinking Toilet Kids at first, just cause it was on my head, but then I thought about it and it would be kind of amusing. Would be funny.

There are tons of NES games that would make miserable movies, along with EVERY 2600 game ever. Besides the SwordQuests.

How could you turn a sports game into a movie in the first place? Wouldn't it just be a sports based movie? That is unless they did some sort of movie based off the Mutant League series. Which now that I think about it could be pretty cool. I mean, remember the cartoon? Bones Justice was the man.

I said non-sports because sports games would make for the most obviious choice. Madden '98: The Movie, Winning Eleven the Movie, things like that...I figured that was just too easy. :P

Are you kidding? I would pay money to see that. The other Shaq movies stunk because they weren't nearly as "out there," but having Shaq sucked into an alien world and beating up monsters? Sign me up. And have Kobe grow a mustache to look like Snidely Whiplash and play the villain.

Anyway, games into bad movies...

Yu-Gi-Oh seems like the obvious answer, but since that crap already exists on television, it doesn't make for a very creative answer.

There are some games that could be freaking awesome movies if they were done right, though...F-Zero, Contra, Comix Zone, ToeJam & Earl. As well, any 16-bit era cutesy platformer could be turned into a suitably marketable children's movie (I'd pay to see an Aero the Acro-Bat animated feature).

On what planet would Shaq Fu and Cho Aniki be anything less than magnificent? I would see both in the theater.

Duke Nukem would be impossibly bad. Unless it was a crossover with Cho Aniki with a manliness contest.
