Why did I pick Alundra?
Arc the Lad Collection is a lot to bite off at once...
Lunar 2...if you just played Lunar 1 you might want a break.
I hear Evolution is mediocre (although I plan on playing it eventually anyway)
For some reason I never got excited about Crystal Chronicles, never felt the need to play it. I'm sure I will sooner or later, but I guess it just hasn't kicked in yet, I don't really know anything about it other than it's multiplayer and involves GBAs somehow.

I'd have to go with Arc the Lad myself. Why? Cause You'd be getting 3 and a half games and much more replay.

My debate,
Lunar silver star I played a long time ago, like 5 years ago! Hope that doesn't effect me playing Lunar 2, if that is chosen.
Just got done with Final Fantasy tatics,
Need to start another for this weekend since I got no money and free time!

In my personal opinion, none of those are even remotely close to LUNAR 2. I have played every good japanese console RPG and out of what you chose LUNAR 2 is the best! This will fit so well, because you may have a vague recollection of some of the events in LUNAR:SSS (which tie right in with Eternal Blue). Arc the Lad is also sweet, Alundra is decent, and the others...Yawn (in my opinion).

Alundra isn't really an RPG, but I think it's the best one of the bunch.

Alundra by far is the best game there. They story and gameplay are awesome. Frankly, Lunar 2 is overrated. It's paced very poorly compared to Lunar SSS and I found it to get tedious starting about halfway through.

I've had it for nearly 2 years now and haven't touched it. Along with 100 other RPG's too :(
