well i just found that i had 25 ripped out of my ass when i thought i quit FFXI. so if anybody can help, i need to quit this game fully. please help :angry: :angry:

FFIX is easy to quit. You just unplug your Playstation and sell the discs on eBay.
But I suspect you mean FFXI.

I have not quit yet but I believe all you gotta do is cancel your account through the playonline service in game. Read the manual, if you still cant find it call them up and cancel it over the phone.

Boot up PlayOnline and cancel your CONTENT IDs and nothing else. Deleting your characters isn't enough. If you cancel your PlayOnline ID, you won't be able to play your copy of FFXI ever again, so don't do that. Just the Content IDs. Those are what get billed.
If you can't find the way to do that through the PlayOnline menus, you can call up PlayOnline and cancel that way. Their number is (858) 790-PLAY, and you can calll Monday-Friday anytime from 9 am to 6 pm Pacific Time. I got that last bit of info out of the manual. ;)

If I am not mistaken you have an extra 2 months after you cancel you ID's to go back and play again if you decide to without losing your characters?

Oh, yes that's true. I didn't mean to imply that you should delete your characters at all, but characters and Content IDs are linked. So... er... I should've worded myself better.
Once you cancel your content ID, the characters will be around for I believe 90 days in case you resubscribe. Otherwise, they're deleted at that time.

now i deleted my content id but i still god billed.
You most likely got billed because of the date that you did it on.
I finally quit and deleted my character and Content ID on February 27th....if I had of done so on Feb 28 I would have been billed for March, since you pay in advance for the upcoming month.

Just call them, that's what I did. It got cancelled immediately.
