Hey gang!

It's the damndest thing. I went to EB games to buy up some el-cheapo Playstation games. Got Pandamonium, Wild 9, and Apocalypse for $2.99 each. Not a bad little haul for some cool little games.

Went I got home, I opened up the Apoc. case and noticed the mildewy smell. The instructions had that "warped because they were underwater and later allowed to dry out" look to them. The instructions also felt "hard," as if the pages were clinging to each other.

It was worse that that...the pages were FUSED together. :hmm: It was if someone had dunked the entire booklet into glue, then allowed it to dry out. No amount of steam, heat, submersion, or other attempts would "unstick" the pages.

Anyway, I need instructions. But I don't need originals, as I'm not THAT particular. If some could scan the booklet and post the pages (or send me a zipped file), I could print up my own and be perfectly happy.

To keep this on-topic, have you ever gotten a supposed "good condition" game home, only to find some weird-assed defect like this?

My copy of Star Wars Episode I: Battle for Naboo on N64 was Mess! *It is now at the bottum of the city dump*

A few Pins were Either Completely removed or pushed up... either way the cart was completely unreadable. Shame too, cool game!

Sure, I've bought games that looked fine but were in fact defective. Both times it was a Dreamcast game that looked pretty damn good. One House of the Dead 2, and one Iron Aces. Neither could be read by either of my DCs. But nothing interesting like your glue-gunned Apocalypse manual. And I'm sorry that I can't tell you where to find one online. I used to have that game, but it's one of the few that I've ever traded away.
