Have you played AND Completed...Grand Theft Auto: Vice City?

Simple question: If you have started playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, did you end up completing it?

I realize that there aren't going to be a lot of people who can answer this question, but I have a theory and would like to take a completely unscientific poll to see if results line up with my thoughts.

There will be a series of these questions. If you could answer all that you possibly can, I would really appreciate it.

Nah, I got maybe 25% of it done, then I had to return it to Blockbuster.

I beat all the missions and most of the side things like vigilante, pizza delivery, ambulance, fireman. But there are still a few things keeping me from 100% completion, like that damn 99th hidden package :angry:

I didn't find 100% of everything but I did finsh the story mode and most of the side stuff.

100% for me. it took me a while but i got the hang of it. now when i go back to it i get lost. lol damn San Andreas.

Nope havent finished it yet. I was playing the crap out of that game for awhile, but then I went home for a week to visit my parents, so that got me out of the swing of it. I've played through most of it though, and hopefuly I'll get the GTA itch again and go finish it.

I've beat it...actually i have two save files where i have finished the story mode but i still have to finish all the rampages and unique jumps.

Sadly, my first finished game became corrupted and would get stuck in the "slow-mo" camera when you do certain jumps :(

I beat it.

In fact, it's the only one of the 3 PS2 GTA games that I played all the way to completion.

Did my usual completion of the game for the story bit.

Then, maybe the next summer, completed it up to 100%. Worst parts were the arena races and ambulance pick-ups.

the ambulences are simply a bitch to complete once you get up to like level 6. little piece of advice, if you have a wireless controller, make sure you remember that and not throw the controller and break a glass door. only time i ever threw a controller and it sucked majorly.

Beat the game? Yes - twice, actually. 100% completion? No.

100% completion, here. Also got 99% on GTA3, but I count it as 100% because I was doing the ambulance missions, and on the very last pickup in the last level, a drone car ran over and killed the guy, making me lose.

I figure my own skill had nothing to do with that, so... x_x

...as for SA, I haven't really gone back to it since I finished the story missions. Never even finished the casino sidequest...

ive gotten it 100% at least twice

im on my second round of SA now so i dont know when i will go back. 100% in SA is pretty time consuming, dont ask me why im doing it again hahah

ok now this is somewhat of an issue with me, seeing as I beat the game but never got 100% completion...so in this poll would I consider myself to have "completed" it or not. I believe I had high 80s when it came to the percentage, but it's been a while so I can't say

I finished the game at 80% percent complete. Proabbly logged a good 50+ hours on it total.

I started the game, but stopped after losing interest in one of the missions.

60% completion of VC, 77% completion of GTA3. Haven't got to SA yet.

But the question is a little ambiguous. I did complete all the main and side missions but did not get a 100% completion rate. Once the story arcs were complete I really didn't feel complelled to stick around for several more hours (on top of what I already put into the thing) trying to do stunts or hunt down packages. Other games were beckoning by that point. As far as I'm concerned I completed Vice City...in the sense that I did everything that had to be done.

I played through to the ending, but did not get 100% of all the little collectible junk and whatnot :)

I played it, bought it on it's release day but currently last I remember I'm stuck around 80% in a mission in the last city
