The Videos are now Online..almost 500 Megs worth...yikes!
The Story is on the page...but here it is...
The Story: Basically.. during a trip to LANCASTER FLEA MARKET in Lancaster, Massachusetts, Adam Vaughn (my friend) and me (Danny McMann, aka- RockyRaccoon), came along a Laserdisc player. Adam always wanted one... and it was 15 bucks! It was industrial..but for 15 bucks, ya can't go wrong? Right. So he bought it. Then the guy said "Hey Wait...theres more with that..." Then produced a CD with Nintendo on it..and a weird SNES Cart with "Nintendo Power Preview 20" on it. We did'nt know what it was. Upon getting back home, we went to http://digitpress.com and found out it may be stuff that'd power a "Nintendo Kiosk" at a store like Toys-R-Us. Upon slipping the CD in, indeed...there was Videos that might be on a Kiosk! The following Files are those Movies.....
Enjoy Muchly, thanks goes to AdamAnt316

Thanks for posting them, Dan. I'd say this stuff probably constitutes my best video game-related find to date. If anyone's wondering, the laserdisc player which came with the bundle is a Pioneer model LD-V2000. If I can find a remote for it, perhaps I can decode what's on the laserdisc, and compare it to the video from the CD version. Once I get everything together, and I can set up my digital capture device, I'll take some pictures of the lot.

That is awesome. Thanks very much!

I am working on getting some pictures taken of the cart, CD and laserdisc (for those who haven't seen one of those, it's a cross between a vinyl record and a CD... ;) ). Once I get them taken, I will likely start a new thread with links to them.

Excellent find! Yeah those look like the clips you would see at Toys R Us at the end of their video game aisle. You would push a button and it would play a short clip to coincide with the picture on the button you pushed. It would be very cool to find on of those units!

Yes, I have. There are 2 old ladies with overpriced games, a nice older guy with a beard and about 4 cases of NES commons (plus other games), a hyper younger guy that has mostly PS games, but some NES. There was another guy but he hasn't been there forever.

A 4th guy is there now, who sells AWESOME Priced Games (1 to 4 dollars for most Common NES games. More for the Desirable titles like Metriod and Ultima) .., and gives you many deals.... he let a Sega Saturn go to my friend with two games for 20 bucks, and he has NES. He also has a Tub of Sega Saturn games, a rarity I find nowadays around these parts.
AND BTW... URL should be working again!

Someone needs to gather all these previews and archive them somewhere. If you didn't see my other thread someone at Starmen.net posted the Kiosk preview for Earthbound.
