Using Sonic CD in Neo Genesis

I'm having trouble emulating Sonic CD in Neo Genesis for my xbox. It wants me to configure my ram but i don't know how.

Any advice??

In a real SEGACD, Sonic CD will not play unless the RAM is formatted. that means, if the battery is dead on the SEGACD, the RAM has to be reformatted every start.

You need to find an option in your emulator to format the SEGACD RAM.

It does this with the PC emulators too. You just need to format the emulated RAM and the game will run. I'm not familiar with XB emulation but this works on Kega and Gens:

1. Boot the MCD BIOS without a game in.
2. Go to the menu / CD player screen.
3. Go to the backup memory management screen
4. Format the memory.
5. Bung the game disc in and run it from the CD player screen (CD-ROM option, top left IIRC).

Once you've got a Sonic CD *.brm save it'll detect that when loading the game so you don't have to do the above every time.
