I was just searching eBay, when I came across the following auction for the PS2 version of Manhunt...

Factory Sealed Manhunt - PS2 - eBay auction (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8174953080&ssPageName=STRK:MEBI:IT)

But it looks very different from every other copy on eBay...

Firstly, the BBFC certificate has been replaced with a PEGI one (Which isn't legally binding like the BBFC one is), and towards the top, it has som sort of warning or something...

Not too sure if it is a warning, or just something written in different languages...

Could this be a French / German variation perhaps? It can't be an Australian one, as it has a PEGI rating on it (Which is for Europe)

So have they re-released Manhunt on the PS2, but cut certain bits out of it perhaps?

that looks like it may be a German copy. but i cant garuntee it. what i find funny is that the name of the high bidder is black market games.

I doubt it's a German version, as those have the red diamond for 18+ games on the cover (also, it's probably banned anyway). After some research, I've seen the cover in a Danish onlinestore, so maybe that's where it's from.

Yes, ok, so I bid before I asked this question. I am still awaiting a reply from the seller though about the game. I had suspected it was perhaps a German copy, but all UK copies seem to be re-sealed in shrinkwrap for some reason...

I checked all over, and couldn't find this cover online, which was what made me suspicious that it was perhaps a re-release (But edited in the same way The Getaway was re-released)

Now that would be an interesting theme for a rerelease set. Done with all the Platinum Collections and Greatest Hits? Try the Give the Government an Aneurysm Series! LOL
