I've got a MultiGame Hunter (like this one here - http://users.skynet.be/DuNe/copiers/mgh.html ).
I was just thinking that I received it with around 100 floppies, split pretty much 50/50 between Genesis and SNES games. Sooner or later the floppies will die, if they haven't already. That led me to the thought that I really ought to copy the files over to CD for safekeeping. Which led to the next logical step - run them direct from the CD.
Does anybody here think it may be doable, easy, difficult, impossible, to remove the floppy drive from one of these and rig up an IDE CD-ROM drive somehow?
I only just thought of this and am not at home, so I can't look at the device right now myself, but I thought I'd throw this out there if anybody knows about this type of thing.
I'm thinking whatever serves as a BIOS for the MGH probably would kill this idea.
