Help me decide how to spend my gift card Mario RPG or X-Men

Hello all, it was my birthday recently and I got a gift card to Gamespot for 50.00. Now, I'm going to get snipped this Friday (You youngins don't even want to know so dont ask LOL ) and I'm going to lay around for a couple of days and I figured a new game for my Gamecube would help out. Anyway I'm torn between X-men Legends and Paper Mario 1000 year door. I recently finished Baldurs Gate. I was really getting into it but it was over so soon. Since there is no sequel for the cube I heard Legends was pretty good. I have also heard good things about Paper Mario. I thought Mario Sunshine stank, so if it's like that my decision is made. If it's fun, not too frustrating, and not too repetitive, I think I would go for the Paper Mario. What do you folks think? :) Other titles are not out of the question so throw a few not too hard or frustrating ones that are like the above mentioned if you know a few. Thanks all.

P.S. Throw Zelda Windwaker and Goldeneye Rogue Agent in there too. I bought the guide to Windwaker dirt cheap from Toys R' Us. I have also liked all the Bonds and nice FPS sounds good too. LOL

I'd go with Paper Mario myself. I don't know, X-men Legends just didn't really seem to keep my interest long anuff to finish it. Although it was far from a bad game.

My vote goes to Paper Mario as well. Xmen is certainly worth checking out, but Paper Mario is such a clever, well done game that it should hold your intrest longer as you recouperate.

My wife is playing Paper Mario as we speak and it is damn good! I play it in a few months. I played X-Men and it is totally a $20 game if you know what I mean.

Paper Mario is....Paper Mario, what else is there to say? Gotta have it.

X-Men is also one hell of a great game. It's a dungeon crawler with great graphics, storyline and voice.

Tough decision. Better you than me....on all 3 counts. LOL

If you can snag both Paper Mario and Wind Waker, do it. If you can find both used it shouldn't be too much more than $50. I'd steer clear of Rogue Agent though, it's certainly not at the level the other 3 games you mentioned are.

My vote goes to X-Men Legends, I'm playing through it right now and it's quite amazing to see a liscensed title that would be good even without the liscense behind it.
