As I said I've got an Action Replay and I want to get PAL & JP megadrive games. Is there a code to put in to play them or do I just plug and play? I also wondered if it will let me play SEGA CD games as well? Thanks in advance!

The usual rules apply to early non-region checking games....plug and play. Using the AR as an extender therefore bypassing having to make your cart slot wider.
However, later region locked games (Bare Knuckle 3, Mega Man: Wily Wars..so on) will still need some type of code to be tricked into playing on your system (assuming its not region modded).
As for where to get any codes...you'll have to check Google or hope another member her has some info.
