I chose the Dreamcast, and second place in my mind is the Genesis. The Dreamcast was just an incredible machine, and the games for it were some of the most fun I've ever had. Sonic Adventure, Chu Chu Rocket, Soul Caliber, South Park: Chef's Luv Shack (well, I liked it... :embarrassed: ), Capcom vs. SNK, GiGa Wing... the games were just so well crafted.
The Genesis was beautiful too, but I should hope it was from competing with the SNES so hard, but my vote stands.

Does some of the adoration for the DC come from the fact it was forced out prematurely, and people feel it was wronged?

My love for it comes from all the kickass games for it.
All I need is a little Gundam Side Story, and a DC, and I can literally sit down for days, just playing that game.
You can subsitute Gundam Side Story with plenty of other games, like Sonic Adventure 1/2, Street Fighter 3, Jet Set Radio, Skies of Arcadia, and so on.
Fav Sega system though? Genesis.
