Who else out here loves this game?

I thought it was great how they blended over head action combat and classic turn based combat in one game. Plus attack formations for super spells, hiring soldiers for extra damage in combat, multiple classes, borrowing money from shopkeepers, gambling, time travel... what more can you ask for?

It's a shame I've never been able to beat it... the 4th boss is so close to impossible that you'll never know the difference.

I love the game, though I get really lost, really fast and last time I checked I couldn't find a decent walkthrough. Awesome game with fantastic music regardless, though!

I think when I beat ti I might have wapred past that guy or somesuch. I don't know, it's been a LONG LONG TIME since I even played it. Hmm....that gives me an idea.

I know it won't happen but this game would be awesome if it was updated. I loved it but remember wishing that the animation was smoothed out a bit more a push NES's color pallete a bit more. People were always all one color or 2-tone. My complaints are only mechanical though. All of the concepts in this game were well thought out and executed. I also agree that that one boss was WAY too damn hard. I don't think I was ever able to defeat him.

Yeah... I played the ROM once to fight him, even state saving I barely beat him, I'm not sure that it's actually possible on the cart. @_@

I've heard nothing but good things about this game as well and I just saw a couple loose carts for a couple bucks. Off to the thrift store I go!!

Rented this as a kid, liked it. Just got it part of this years Secret Santa, so gonna give it a full shot now, though it has a password system. lol

Still waiting for a beta of Magic of Scheherazade 2 to turn up. Advertisement with pics in an unofficial Nintendo magazine and on Nintendo Power "Next Month: Magic of Scheherazade 2." There has to be an incomplete copy out there somewhere.
