I didn't see this posted yet, so hopefully it wasn't.

Anyways, it's a strange listing, I won't lie.

I wouldn't so much try to sell it on ebay, but hit it with a sledgehammer and throw it off a bridge. Maybe that's over reacting though.

It's a nice ghost story, but nothing that can't be explained as a malfunctioning system.

Crazy description though, doesn't seem like the kind of thing you'd be able to think up and describe in quite that way unless you were a talented fiction writer of such topics.

I sort of believe that at least he thinks he's having these experiences. I'm gonna watch it, maybe Golden Palace will bid on it.

Heh, I'm into the whole ghost thing, so I'd kinda like to buy that NES and see if this guy is for real or full of it.

To the watch list it goes!

LOL

Amusing.. But we can't disprove it unless it is bought, Then tested.

I hate to think what would happen if i stacked my dreamcast on it.

I paused the game to try to hear it a little better,

Doesn't the sounds usually stop when you pause the game? LOL

And those controller hauntings could easily be a bad port.

My older PS2 controller also does those "phantom button presses" when it's dirty. MUST BE HAUNTED TOO!

I must have this! It would go well with the haunted dentures that I got from the old folks home last week. I should post photos, they chatter all night unless you put them in a glass of water and talk nice to them! :D

I have an older TV without AV inputs and I have ran the system through my VCR's inputs then into the TV. If the VCR is set to a channel then the input button is pushed, I can hear the TV show in the background. If you switch the VCR to a "fuzzy" channel or one with no picture, then it is silent in the background. I really think it is caused by a similar phenomena.

^^^ same generall thing happens to me... if I set it on channel 3, and there is a fuzzy program the antenna picks up you can hear it in the back ground... if I put it on channel 4 with no channel playing it works super clear :)

I emailed him put I told him stick witht the paranormal it will sell for more :)

I remember once I had my TV on mute and I was hearing these voices. All I could think was "What the hell?". After listening intently for a few minutes, I recognized the lingo the voices were using... I was picking up trucker CB conversations on my TV speakers! LOL
It was odd, and I haven't noticed again since, but I'm sure it's not that uncommon an occurance.

OMG,that's ultra high for a NES console, what if this story is total bull and the seller just wantsx to make money?Spookstories seem to sell though, sneaky way of selling, people seem to buy it.I don't beleive any of this if you ask me.

well think of it this way. if it is haunted, maybe the nes will play 2-player games with you even if you have no friends.

like long_shawn_silver briefly mentioned about movies, this would make one hell of a parody/horror/gaming movie

Imagine, a console that wants you dead
Where Sprites and Pixels are your enemy
A computer built to kill, loaded with ghouls

Dont unplug it, it will only get worse....

(and my photoshop job to go with my shit joke...)

Maybe the kid killed himself by smacking his head against the system 923 times after trying to beat ghosts n' goblins for the 72343rd time. So, later when the creepy old man limped down to his invalid sons' basement nuthouse cell, he found the tortured soul slumped over the NES, blood all over the console. After cleaning the bloody mess on the floor up with a greasy mop, the old man cleaned the NES with the only things he could find laying around the Brooklyn shack, a box of Q-tips and a bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol.

After numerous times of trying to bury his unfortunate son withe the cursed NES, the old man discovered the NES would always reappear in the attic. Desperate, the guilty old fool took it to the local thrift to rid himself of the madness. Later, that week you could read in the local paper about a man in his late 70's found dead in his attic with a huge stockpile of brand new Nintendo Entertainment Systems.

Good Luck Bidding!
