What are the Nintedo DS multiplayer games?

Here's what we've come up with as far as games (carts really) that have some level of multiplayer support:

Asphalt Urban GT (requires cart for each player)
Band Bros. (import)
Chokkan Hitofude/Polarion (import)
Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt
Mr. Driller Drill Spirits (requires cart for each player)
PictoChat (built in chat program)
PingPals
Puyo Puyo Fever (import)
Ridge Racer
Super Mario 64 DS
The Urbz
Tiger Woods PGA Golf
Yoshi's Touch & Go
ZooKeeper



I've been splurging on handhelds lately and did something stupid last night. I won an auction with two Nintendo DSen.

Now, can someone provide me with a list of DS games that support networked play? My girlfriend and I are excited about one-on-one puzzlers but we don't really know what is available and bought on impulse.

As far as I know Tiger Woods Golf is the only multiplayer game, and I can't imagine we are going to enjoy that one.

Forget that - where are the DS games period???

Here's some that I can think of.

Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt
Mr. Driller Drill Spirits
Super Mario 64 DS (some weird battle mode)
Asphalt Urban GT
Ridge Racer (single card multi as well)
Band Bros. (import only for now)
Chokkan Hitofude/Polarion (ditto)
Puyo Puyo Fever (also import - up to 8 players I think)

Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt is a demo that allows up to 4 players, don't know if it requires additional carts but it's not an issue because it is packed with every DS.

Puyo Puyo is definitely on the list now.

I checked Nintendo.com and Super Mario 64 *does have* a single cartridge, multiplayer battle mode.

And you are right about Ridge Racer, it is also a single cartridge multiplayer game. So is Asphalt Urban GT.

Mr. Driller supports head-to-head gaming but requires multiple carts.

And you are right about Ridge Racer, it is also a single cartridge multiplayer game. So is Asphalt Urban GT.

As far as I know, Asphalt requires a card for each player. It's an excellent racing game, though, with quite a few cars and tracks to choose from.
