Interesting. For quite some time, I was wondering why the CV version did not include the meteor/fireball screens.

Well, a fan of the arcade game assure me that the arcade version did not have them, either. They were added to the 2600 and 5200 versions by Sega.

Can anyone here verify this? It's been over 20 years since I've played the arcade version.

I used to play this all the time in the arcades, but it's been so long I don't remember, and I never played a home version of it.

I'll have to check some screenshots.
