See SNK, it wasn't that difficult to get Sony US to approve this release.

3 & 4 already came out individually on the japanese PS2. I imported MS4 for PS2, excellent game... cant wait for more!!!

If it wasn't a double pack, it wouldn't have gotten approved. Which is why MS3 isn't out on ps2 here. Oh well, Sony's loss, as that is a much better game than MS4 and 5.

Awesome news! I'll most definitely be picking up the PS2 version. Though I have heard that these two are the weakest in the series...Is that really true?

That's what I meant. They should have gone this in the first place, like they have been with KOF.

That was a new entry in the series all together. I haven't heard about Slug 1 being released on GBA though..........

I cant wait to get this for my PS2 @_@ the Metal Slug series is my second fav SNK franchise after SS.
these combo packs are great for us 2-D gamers even if it is because of Sonys problem with almost anything 2-D :roll:

It depends on your deffinition of Weak...
All the Metal Slug enthusiests blew off Metal Slug 4 because it was more of the same... With new, not so cool, characters. If anything its a BETTER Slug experience than Metal Slug 3... it just happened to be released afterwords. It does have a few uninspired bosses though, and its deffinately the hardest in the series. It did feel like someone tried to remake 3, but ended up failing.
Metal Slug 5 is great though. The New vehicles in the game were pretty cool, especially that spider one. And the Multiple Paths are even more varried. Game is shorter in lenghth and lighter on difficulty though, but it does have the Best music in the series!
