I voted for the original Qix!

None of the above - my favourite was a shareware version I had on the Amiga years ago - I loved that one, and have tried a few other versions since to try & find a similar one, but all those I've played have been somewhat wanting in comparison.

Ultimate Qix all the way. I remember spending countless hours playing that game back on the Genesis.

Orginial Qix, of course.

My choice would be between the Qix clone Cacoma Knight in Bizyland (SNES) or the Atari 5200 version.

My vote goes to "Fantasia", the arcade game.

I voted for the original Qix!
Great! I must have missed the part where this couldn't have been said in the original post though. +1
If I could only play one, I'd go with the original arcade game, but I'm a also big fan of Ultimate Qix on the Genesis.
I like the Atari 5200 version best also...

I find different versions are more popular between different generations.
Kids like Qix for what Qix has got. Moms like Qix for what Qix has not.

I picked Qix Neo. Guess I could have picked Ultimate Qix since it's pretty much the same thing, but Qix Neo is the one I own.
The Game Boy version is also pretty fun on the go.

I voted for the original, but I am partial to the PC Engine version of Volfiev myself.

I started to add all the Qix clones to the poll too, but Bizyland is the only one I know of, and I've never played it, so I can't comment on it. I would like to know what other games are similar to Qix though. Qix is an awesome game.
I'd say they pretty much rank in order. The original Qix is the best, because there's no end to it. (That know of!) I played the 5200 version to death. Ultimate Qix would've been better if it wasn't so much more difficult, and Qix Neo would've been better if it wasn't even more difficult still. So the high difficulty of the two sequels is what makes them not as enjoyable as the original to me. The original Qix wasn't all that easy either, but it was mostly mindless fun. The two sequels are far more challenging, and more like puzzles.
I like the originality of all the bosses in the two sequels, but it pisses me off that the original Qix boss doesn't even make a cameo in either one of the sequels! What's up with that? The original Qix boss was one of the coolest sprites ever created for a video game! And the sounds that it made were awesome too! I like the sounds of the original game much better than the sounds of the sequels. I do love the sequels, but not as much as the original.
As for Qix cereal, it was actually Kix cereal, but good joke anyway! At least for those of us old enough to remember it. I never ate the stuff, but I do remember that jingle! It sounded too wholesome for me to want it though.
Qix... kid tested, mother approved!

I dig Qix Neo, although I have that new Space Invaders plug-and-play, so I have yet to try Qix with an arcade stick...

I get my Qix above the waistline, sunshine.

Yes, my second favorite is "Cho Aniki Qix" that reveals PDF's nude torso (strictly above the waistline) as the board is cleared. Arooooo!
My favorite is the Atari 5200 version emulated on a Dreamcast. Because I don't have to disassemble the DC controller when it's been sitting for a month.
