My wonderswan collection (slight bragging)

I just thoughy i'd announce that i am officially (by the digital press guide) 10% into a complete wonderswan software collection, not concluding limited edition consoles. so right now i have 20 complete titles, 1 prototype and 2 complete consoles ( a color and a crystal). personally i think this is a great accomplishment for myself although i still have a long way to go it is a nice dent considering its an import system.

the proto is of Digimon Battle Spirits :) i havent gotten any rockman games for it yet since i am trying to milk ebay for what i can since the sellers i use are cheaper than buying from regular online shops hahaha. i gotta start seeing if they can speical order games for me becuase i am already starting to notice some titles that are gonna be hard to get my mitts on.

taking that into consideration i think i may start working on possible rarities for the games in the data base @_@

yeah its pretty much all japanese but there are a lot of puzzle games and non text stuff thats easy to figure out without any knowledge of japanese. i do plan to start learning some eventually. especially since i might want to get some import shmups for the saturn in the future

I should have bought that proto when you mentioned it, but I like the GG games I bought instead. LOL I kind of gave up buying WS games until DP started the rarity guide for it.

Check out the ebay seller: Aloha5-0 for some wonderswan stuff. Cliff's great and never done me wrong!

yeah i actually bought the Sd Gundam Red and Blue set from him. Definitley a good seller. he even tossed in some Ps2 ads from japan and a tiny thanks (i never felt so loved from an ebay seller :^P). another seller that is pretty good that i deal with all the time is loongsfj . just did a deal with steve666b that was pretty good as well.

do you know if cliff would be able to special order items if i were to request it or atleast try to track them down. i know some titles are gonna need some heavy searching so i want see if some dealers would be able to get them for me easier.

Basically anything that isn't an RPG or strategy. WS has lots of great ports like Ghosts & Goblins, Mr. Driller, Golden Axe, etc.

I had a Wonderswan, sold it for Saturn imports. There is one game I really regret getting rid of. Turntablist: DJ Battle. My God what a game.

I love my Swan! I just got it recently, and picked up a bunch of loose games for it. Next time I am in Japan I plan on getting quite a few more. Here's how I started:

SwanCrystal (Violet Blue)

Golden Axe
Guilty Gear Petit 1
Guilty Gear Petit 2
Front Mission
Rockman N1 Battle (too much Japanese, hard to play/understand)
Super Robot Taisen Compact 2 (3 game pack, 3 different editions)
Mr Driller
Star Hearts
Crazy Climber

I passed up on alot of other stuff in Japan that I wanted since I had already spent WAY too much on Saturn stuff. I'm having non-buyer's remorse at not picking up those FF I & II LE sets I saw (for cheap, too)

It's a great little system! I'm going to enjoy collecting for it.

He told me he was going to Guam soon then back to the states sometime in April.
