Here is the deal guys. I got me the nice Tekken 5 Hori stick and I love it. Now my bro wants to get into the action and he is looking for a stick. The thing is he is not willing to spend big bucks on it. So do you know of any stick that are in the $20-50 range....better if it is closer to 20 than to 50 :)

Naturally I don't expect it to be as good as my Hori...but it has to be fit to use...a real deal - not a toy that will break after a few games.

So any idearrrs? ;)

Just find a cheap saturn or playstation stick and get one of those system controller convertors. Hopefully that works.

thats a bit too general...do you have any specific models in mind?

No, not really. You'd probably just be better off buying another generic controller anyways, seeing as you would had to buy the adapter and another "stick" and that would most likely be more expensive in the long run.

I absolutely recommend the Pelican real arcade sticks. I think the universal only runs 39.99 and mine have been awesome.

FACT: There is no such thing as an arcade stick that is both cheap and good.

Cheap and decent, maybe...

Mow a few lawns and buy another hori.

Ive never come accross an arcade stick that felt good and was cheap. Maybe you and your brother could build one. That would be a cool thing to do together. Just order the parts and build the box out of wood or something.

that Pelican above :P
buttons might be crap though, however Happ Competition buttons will fit perfectly in the existing holes

Buttons don't feel like crap to me, but I'm just a noob I guess. If you don't want to spend allot of money and want a *decent* stick, the Pelican is fine. I had no problems with it.

Sebastian, if you're interested in buying the stick, I bet I can ship it for under $10 with parcel post. PM me with your address and I'll get a quote for you.

Go with the X-Arcade stick which works on all curent Gen consoles and both PC and Mac. It goes for $100 dollars though for the 1 player model or $150 for 2 player one and even though it is really expensive it won't break like most of the other ones out there.
