IGN just released on 2/25/05 that Bungie was planning on releasing Halo 3 on the release date for the PS3. I would be a drastic change to bump the release date up by year? Who knows?

id bet if the xbox really does get released this november, then that date is probably close to correct, since they are gonna want to have a AAA title ready near the release to sell some systems and get some people playing on whatever version of Xbox Live works with this new system

Sounds like they want Halo ready to combat the release date for the PS3, which would probably effectively eliminate and drone out some of the hype for the new system, and attract focus to the new box.

The 3rd may be the release date for the new X-Box (Xenon).

So they're turning Halo into the next Tony Hawk? Add a couple new options and moves/weapons and some new maps and it's good to go, every year, right on schedule?

Well hell, they've been doing it with Unreal. And Madden. :roll: Three cheers for the future stagnation of this overhyped franchise...
