View Full Version : Did i just score a proto nes cart at eb for 6 dollars!!?!

Alright, i was looking around, at nes games... and i saw a shiny cart in the corner... I was guessing it was zelda, but to my suprise, it was MIG29: Solviet Fighters, I look at the back of the cart, and there Is a Switch in the back like the NWC carts... there is a sticker above it, that reads...
Patent...pending.............
Do Not drop. DO NOT get wet. Do not leave in direct sunlight.
Position B.(pointing to switch) Only use this position if the game does not work with position a
Position A (pointing down)
The back of the cart also says, G2 on the back of it...
Just wondering, is this what the retal carts were like? I can provide pics if u guys want

I dont know about the warnings, but MIG 29 is a gold cartridge and its unlicensed so it looks diffrently than a normal NES cartridge. Dont think its a prototype.

Hehe ye, its not like you lost any money. I remember MIG29 from when I was a kid. Besides, the music in MIG29 owns! Maybe just the music is worth 7 bux alone ;)

AFAIK I *think* Nintendo modified its consoleīs security sometime around the middle of the NEsīs lifespan
