How did sega let nudity on the saturn with naked ninjas

this thread started out with me trying to find the name of a game. Found it was Three Dirty Dwarves, and i was looking because i remember a game with naked ninjas. well this topic went into a discution about nudity allowed on the Saturn. So go ahead and put ur .02 worth. :D


i have a question dose anybody remember the game that had the naked ninjas....i have been trying to figue this out for about 2 months and have gotten no ware on this.

see i dont really remember i thought it had vikings in it....still not sure all i remember was that it had ninjas that were naked expect for their mask.

What type of game is it? platformer? shooting game? 3d game?

If its got naked people, then it amost surely isnt a commercial game in the US

BTW maybe this game would make a good conversation piece....How did Sega allow "naked ninjas" in a commercial games???

I havnt seen a picture of these naked ninjas, but i guess its humor based. Thats most likely why there are naked ninjas in the game.

Still, Sega used to have a strict policy for no nudity in their games (Remember the lawsuit they filed against razorsoft for the "naked" fairy in stormlord? It looked cartoony too).

Maybe Sega didnt test the game enough, and the nudity slipped-by?

I think its strange that nudity isnt allowed, even this little. Just think of all those beat'em up games where you beat the shit out of people. Thats like 10 times worse.
Nudity is a natural thing, but beating people isnt. So why is this much more accepted? Dont see the logic..

Thats part of the modern puritanism in the american media. They show bloody pictures of dead people on the TV; but they get fined for showing Janet Jackson´s breast..

there are fair number of Saturn imports where you can see nipple - real as well as CG kind... :p No there isn't one showing other bits... You need to go back to PC Engine era for that... he he
