I need a little help I have a PS2 that clicks When I try to play 2 of my PS1 Titles. I have no Idea Whats wrong Need a little help.

Do you have replacement PS2 gears and such around, and are you comfortable re-jigging a worm screw and glide rails?
Your laser gear is likely wearing away. If that's what it is, you will need a new gear, plus a re-tuning so it doesn't eat the new gear as well.

Thx but I have no extra PS2 Gears, this is my First PS2 also I am sorta new when reparing Stuff.

By any chance is one of those games Lunar 2? I brought my copy of L2 over to a friends right after he got his PS2 and it made evil whirling, clicking sounds (sounded like a VROOOOM!!!!) I thought his PS2 was scratching the hell out of my disc, but it wasnt.

Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX
Edit: Also MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch Doesn't work.
WWF Smackdown 2, and Knckout Kings 2000 work.
I haven't tested my copy of PS1 Quake II yet.

He needs a new lateral laser gear, and a re-jigging so it won't eat the replacement gear.
I'd bet money on it. I do 3 of those per week.

Mom and Dad bought it in Oct. that year.
