I remember seeing an article in one of the U.S. gaming magazine about all the games in development for the PlayStation 2. This was before the system's launch. THUNDERBIRDS, based on the original British TV series, NOT the live-action movie (recently released), was one of them. :eek 2:

The brief "look-ahead" mentioned that a U.S. release was possible, but unlikely. Does anyone here know if the game was ever released (anywhere)?

I don't remember this one, but I do have a Videopac game called Terrahawks+, which is essentially the Odyssey2 game Attack Of The Timelord! with Gerry Anderson-licensed packaging. <shrug>

I think there's a good Space: 1999 (http://www.thelogbook.com/log/1999/) game waiting to happen out there myself, but I just don't know who'd play it. LOL

Haven't heard anything about a PS2 game but there was a Thunderbirds game for various home computers in Europe (http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=1056).

There was a Thunderbirds game released on the NES sometime in the early '90s. It was an a standard vertical-scrolling shooter, and an average one at that.

I finally came across a game based on THUNDERBIRDS. Wouldn't you know it would be based on the recent live-action movie. Not the TV series from the 60's.

Anyway, it's for the GBA. I saw it at EB. While I was paying for it the guy behind the counter told me that I had just purchased their last copy. I've only played it enough to know that I probably won't like the movie it's based on. I would love to play a game based on the original TV series, on a modern console.

There's a Thunderbirds Are Go! game on the Super Famicom as well.

They should have made a game based on the one Tiger plays at the beginning of every Terrahawks episode. It would end when you finally beat Tiger's high score LOL .
