Failing those you should phone up a local arcade and ask if they have any extra machines lying around. You could also look up an arcade distributor, check with local arcades for that info aswell.

No.
Go to the auction on the 30th shown above - you've got a highly likelyhood of finding one there.

I'd suggest you'd take the day off if you're serious about getting a MVS.
Some of us would kill to have a SuperAuctions in their back yard.
If you just want an MVS and price isn't a big deal, call some local distributors (just look up amusements in the phone book). Someone would likely have one, but you'll pay for the convenience.

i really reccomend you bother to study and research what you are doing before you make a stupid mistake and buy something that is flawed.
Neo Geo is not something you just go out and buy with no prior knowledge, read up on what you are doing so that you can actually make an educated decision . by the way, screw work, go to that auction, im serious , your very lucky to have one of those auctions so close to you.

Well, if you don't mind paying, I'd suggest trying TNT Amusments in Southhapton, PA (It's suburban Philadelphia, so it should't be that far for you.) You said you wanted a "store" and that's pretty much what they are. It's really your best bet if you don't want to go to an auction and you don't know how to repair a machine...

Patient on the Submit button, eh?
I just took a look at TNT's stock listing and their prices for Neo Geo cabinets are absurd. As wonderful as TNT may be, I don't recommend paying those prices.

I agree TNT's prices are a bit nutso, but if you don't know anything about arcade games, don't seem into learning, and don't want to go to an auction...theres not much choice.

Holy lord those MVS prices are insane on that website! One day I would love to own an MVS. Once I do a little research and got the cash and a way to transport it I'll have to hit some of the local amusement stores.
Damn...the transportation part seems to be the toughest part for me, I have no proper vehicle for the occasion.

honestly, if you really want one, go to super auctions this saturday
i will be there and a bunch of other dp members will be there (check the events forum for the Super Auctions NJ thread) and im sure one of us would look at any mvs cabs at super auctions and point out any flaws we may see
before i got my 4 slot, i researched for months so i knew exactly what i wanted and was getting when i found one
if you dont feel like you know enough about them, hold off on getting one until you become more familiar
along those lines, if you do get one and want more games, you really have to watch out for bootlegs...aes and mvs games are notorious for having bootlegs made and sold as real games
there is a lot to know about the Neo Geo MVS / AES scene before you get into it
im sure you've seen this site already, but if not ... http://www.neo-geo.com lots of info there
and particular questions about an mvs, feel free to pm or post it....being an owner of an mvs 4 slot, id be glad to help
also, if you do find a private seller (not at an auction) be careful not to get ripped off....you can easily get a 4 slot between $3-500 (i got mine at $350), and the dealer and ebay prices of $1000+ are crazy

For what it's worth, I paid $350 my 4 slot. No games. It had a shot monitor too.
I know of another 4 slot MVS that included Sengoku, Aero Fighters 3, Art of Fighting, and Fatal Fury 2 sold in the Denver/Metro area for $650.
My friend got his 4 slot with Metal Slug, Metal Slug 2, Bust a Move, and Samurai Showdown II for $250. The side art was painted over, and he it got it from a closing arcade (thus the rock bottom price). His monitor is having issues as well.
So, IMO, a good clean 4 slot cabinet with a few games in it may be a good buy for $550. But, then again, depending on your location, this could vary quite a bit.

yea, mine for $350 was near-mint to mint with 4 games, the extra "blank" mvs mini marquee, dip switch setting sheets, instruction manual, and everything except 2 of the 4 marquee lights working
i easily would have went to say $500 for it though
