I'll take this oppertunity to moan at the backwards steps we are takinging from analog CRT television.
Digital TV in the uk has only taken grip in the past 4-5 years realy. and its quality is attrocious, and thats nothing to do with signal stregnth (which is another frequent problem) its the compression software, its so blocky especialy on certain channels (ITV and BBC) makes a soccer match almost unwatchable when large areas of the field are shown, and due to compression does not get updated as frequently as moving imagary, until the ball gets kicked accross it.
And to make it worse we now have to pay extra to watch the premier soccer matches in this god awfull way, since the likes of skyTV bought the rights to the major games.
And you know what its our fault, (well not mine) if the idiots who keep paying sky for premier matches and boxing, then sky will keep putting them pay per view.
if the mass stop paying, then they will return to the free to air channels where they once belonged..
