That's about it.
Trust me...I looked everywhere. I just went ahead and ordered mine from the Nintendo Store.

There are a bunch on ebay right now, but they're fairly exspensive.

....at which point Nintendo's online store is just as cheap, and reliable

I got mine from Nintendo direct, as well, but I believe there are multi-system cables that will do the Cube, as well as the PS2, I think.
I've got a few sealed Nintendo brand ones that I was thinking about how I should sell them. I was thinking of putting them on ebay, but just PM me an offer or trade list if you like. Theres this one guy at the flea market I always go to that keeps getting them and I don't know where from, and he says he'll bring me some more this week.

About the only place still to have regular stock of them outside Nintendo themselves.
Incidently where QoF got hers from ;)

Exactly!
I ask this: Can you really tell a difference in picture or sound when the component cables are plugged in, COMPARED to when they are NOT hooked up.
I have also been thinking about getting a pair but don't know if it's even worth the bother??

Depends on the TV. I noticed that the edges were smoother and the colors more vibrant. There might be a big difference in some cases, but it may take a discerning eye.

It's more noticable on a bigger TV. I've got a 36" standard definition Sony WEGA and everything looks MUCH better via component, especially text. On the other hand, my 24" WEGA looks great just using S-Video.
I'd definitely recommend it.

Cool, thanks. I guess the bigger the tv, the more you can notice. I definately notice little things like that though, so I would really be able to tell.
