I once had hundreds of pics all over the net on some of this. Pm me if you want me to take a picture of anything. And I'll send 1st to any reputable trader.
If you remember a "post your weekend finds" thread with 18 cabs on a trailer about a year ago that was me. And here's some of the stuff I have left:
***All this stuff is 100% original.***
Rare Marquees
Super Moon Cresta by Sega/Gremlin -The picture on KLOV is my marquee (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=S&game_id=9920). This was considered a "hack" by KLOV. Now they call it a hack/rom swap. I would like to think its because I provided a marquee as proof it wasn't a hack, but it was probably just updated.:) I also have a matching "super" sticker that goes on the top left corner of the monitor bezel. At least that's where it is now. I've been offered decent cash when I had no plans of getting rid of itO_O Many people with Moon Cresta cabs have upgraded with the "super" rom swap, but this seems to be the only Super Moon Cresta marquee anyone has seen (I could be wrong) and have had many offers on it. I honestly can't say the same for "Demon"-but no one has this game anyways and this is the first time I really considered getting rid of them.
Demon, by Thomas Automatic industries-not found on KLOV-even though I submitted a pic to them some time ago. Its in excellent condition, but no one has heard of the game. Cool looking marqee. It was it a cab shaped like just like this (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8915).
But the front has a darkened-out monitor bezel/control panel combo Like this TAI game (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=6945). I have no idea what PCB it is that came with it. Ladybug or Snapjack. But it has an 8-way joystick so I doubt it is Ladybug. Or maybe its Demon? I wanted to get a couple more of my cabs working before I tackled this one-just in case.
Large back marquee for the Universal game "Snap Jack" That is on KLOV as well (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=S&game_id=9597) Very large and heavy. Made of glass. Can see light through a few spots, but overall a really neat piece of classic arcade art.
I won't just give these three away as I want my own "room of doom" soon and these would be the rarest things I'd probably own :P But I'd rather have old consoles and games instead.
NOT SO RARE BUT STILL GOOD LOOKING
Mr. Do's! Castle Universal - 2 marquees. Both the black-styled one with the castle background, not the green brick one. One is cracked but might look decent on a wall. The other looks pretty good. You can see wear around the edges where it fit into the cab-so it may be suited for actual marquee duty instead of wall art, since you wouldn't see the wear after installation anyways. Great looking art on these.
Vs. Ice Climber (Nintendo) I like this marquee because of the icy, frosted look. Glass and the sides are slanted (parallelogram shaped) nice condition.
Gun.Smoke Capcom still in cab so I haven't taken it out yet to hold up to the light, but it looks very nice. The cab it is in is what I believe to be the Super Moon Cresta cab. Identical to the ones in KLOV and it say Sega/Gremlin on the back plate. This has been converted to a Gun.Smoke cab.
But it still has a "super" sticker on the monitor bezel that definately goes with with SMC marquee (identical font and everything to the "Super" on my marquee.
Time Pilot Marquee-you can hold it up to the light and see light through several pinhole sized places. Looks good otherwise-which means you would have to darken out the holes somehow if you wanted to use it on a cab-plus I have a working TP PCB, so they may go together to someone.
These marquees...umm, I promise to be square shaped. :)
Tag Team Wresting (decent shape-just not a real crowd pleaser as far as looks go)
Mat Mania (same as above)
Rally-X -glass, missing paint in several areas. like the blue in alot of the lettering and some yellow.
Karate Champ (missing an arc-shape on bottom left 4"-5" long and 1.5"-2" deep-quite easy to see.)
The Double by Karateco. It was some kind of card game judging by the large square button layout. Glass and in rough shape, paint wise. Also not on KLOV-but that may be because it is a card game.
Cabal Marquee-its just the silkscreened part and it has folds on the corners-pretty rough looking. Will end up being a freebie I'm sure.
MISC. ARCADE STUFF
Complete Williams Joust owners manual set in original folder. Folder is in bad shape. The rest is complete and in decent shaped. This package comes with a monitor booklet that still seems somewhat popular (you can download it from many arcade repair sites) and various warranty cards addendums, etc.
Original Super Pac-Man arcade manual-complete with the plastic binders down the side all intact.
Side art If I can get these off with a hot air gun (which is supposed to work) I have i set (2 pc's) for Mr Do's! Castle and another set (2 pc's) for Do! Run Run.
Also have multiple PCB's
Mr. Do's Castle (2) The worlds first shadetree arcade technician got ahold of one of these and has bypassed certain leads with electrical wire. Whether this was to work with the wrong wiring harness or to try and fix a broken PCB I don't know. I'm calling these both non-working.
Do! Run Run Looks good but I never got it to work. I'll probably keep this one because I think I can get it to work-but will consider trades.
Time Pilot works fine...great game! Can package this with the marquee if you want to build your own TP cab.
Mat Mania/Tag Team wrestling one of each. basically the same game. I can't remember whether these worked with my Time Pilot cab or my Yie-ar Kung Fu cab but these worked when I plugged them in a year ago. The picture was sideways on one or both-but I believe that is because the monitor I was using was oriented the wrong way. I also have the monitor bezel with good art for Mat Mania. And a control panel with the overlay for Mat Mania-but they cleary don't match. So basically I have a complete Mat Mania setup.
Gun.Smoke Looks good but the wiring harness is a mess (like with several of these cabs). I have no way of testing it without a little more arcade repair knowledge. :P Again, I have the marquee to this. And the Control panl with overlay. But of course, its the Moon Cresta CP that the overlay is sitting on.
Zaxxon When I found these cabs I never thought any of them would work. So I was dumb enough to part this cab out. But after several booted right up on the first try, I really kicked myself for not working on this one. It was so damn heavy I had to leave it behind my shed and create a
mini shack for it and several others. These go for good money when working. So I would be willing to let someone test it before committing to a trade for it.
Ah hell... I hate shipping PCB's and my brain is locking up trying to remember them all. onto my remaining NES doubles:
