I'd like to get really good at this game. Can anyone help me with the following?

1. Anybody know of a site where I can find drawn pics or screen shots of the layouts of the multi-player maps?

2. Other than gamefaqs, can anyone direct me to good sources for Halo 2 Multiplayer tips and strategies?

TIA.

This is the best page for tricks on multiplayer, legal in gameplay too.

Alll sorts of jump tricks and hiding places. Shows how to get on top of foundation. Enjoy

learning the Multiplayer maps requires some playing in them. Seeing the layout and watching how people move through them is the ONLY way to really learn them. I've never picked up on the Mulit maps by reading about them.

Try some of the other Major halo sites like http://halo.bungie.org/

Cue , did you buy the guide ? I loved how detailed the maps were. And in the first few days of Halo 2 I knew where stuff was even though others did not :)

Also playing the maps over and over again against friends works. Sometimes I will play by myself just to look at stuff ;) Get together with others and play capture the flag or assault instead of custom slayer. Learning methods and paths to score comes in handy while in match making :D

Sorry I was busy last night with clan stuff , but you can catch me online tonight.

I finally started playing team slayer and made it to level 14 yesterday. I hope to level up my big team battle to 17 soon 8-)

Which guide? I've seen several. Are any of them really good?

Oh, and Captain, I'm not there yet, but someday I will be gunning for you. :D

Anybody else have any advice or good websites for tips?

God I hate getting cheated on. Some idiots in team skirmish, capture the flag, did the router standby on us last night.

Yeah, get used to that, it happens quite a bit. Here's the best course of action for dealing with that:

1. Whoever captured the flag, planted the bomb, whatever is the culprit. Not much you can do to stop them. Best case scenario, you'll get a tie.

2. When the match is over, get all of the verbal vulgarity out of your system in the post-game lobby.

3. Check the "players" tab of the friends list and report them as cheating and have everyone in your party do the same. Check their clan affiliation and if anyone else in the match was in their clan, report them too. Even if they weren't cheating, let them go down with their tactless pussy friends.

4. A lot of times, people on their team had no idea what was going on and were innocent bystanders (ooh, poor choice of words!) to the whole shameless shenanigans. Anyway, a lot of times they'll be crying at you "I didn't cheat, don't leave me bad feedback!" If it's apparent they weren't the culprits, be the bigger man and don't leave them feedback. It would suck to be in the same situation.
