TI 99/4A loaded. The ram expansion cart, tower expansion bay with dual floppy drives, modem, voice system, voice recognition module, dot matrix printer, just everything. Even TI Logo II. What a monster. I miss it.

My first computer was a Laser386SX,it was given to me in 1997 when my great uncle got a newer computer and dumped his piece of **** on me
for me to use for school. It couldnt do anything really exept do word processing and play older DOS games.I didnt have the money nor did my father
to purchase a new computer so I worked with it and eventually kept messing the operating system up until the point where my uncle eventually
gave me his Windows 3.1 Disks.I also got a printer with the system which was probably the worst dot matrix printer ever conceived by man,it was loud as
hell and was a pain in the ass to use.I got a few uses out of it but I resented having been exposed to such utter crap.I remember in 7th grade
having to make a childrens story and I ended up having to make the font like 72 and the thing seriously ran all night long and when I
turned the story in the teacher rejected it saying it looked to messy and I seriously wanted to bring the printer to school and throw the **** thing at her since she
had a nice new apple macintosh computer to work with a nice colored laser printer that the school was letting her fat ass use since she was the english
teacher.I still have resentment to this day if you can't tell.
Well to get back on subject. In Mid July 99 I got my 16th birthday present from my grandmother. She of course wouldnt help me get a car so I could
chase tail all night like I wanted to do,instead I get a present the further helped make me anti social than I already was.It was an Emachine
366C with monitor, printer and the whole shabang that come with a normal computer system. It was internet ready and I was happy I finally had
a computer that was half-way modern so I could do the things I wanted to do.Of course the first day I looked at sports sites and got to play
computer games I wanted to with ease, but then curiosity set in and I decided to get my first dosage of internet porn.At first I was a total
newb not knowing where to go and I ended up crashing internet explorer many times and forgetting that there was a thing called "history"
in Windows 98 that showed where you been surfing. My dad ended up finding out and at the time he was still in his "I dont want my son exposed
to sex until he is 30 year old".He got his female secretary friend to see what sites I had been looking at.It was so **** embarrased
I didnt know how I would get out of it,but I told him that I was looking at some sports sites and porn sites were popping up
forcing me to visit their
sites. He bought the story since he really didnt know jack **** about the internet and she probably just went along with me since she didnt want
to embarass me more, but I knew that I was going to have to be smarter in the
future if I was going to look at porn.
I then found out about yahoo.com,which was probably the most famous and visited site on the net at that time in 99-2000.I ended up finding out
about chatrooms and I finally had my first girlfriends that I had always wanted, but they were usually thousands of miles away and didnt have
a picture, but i liked pretending and got engrossed in the cyberchat world.I also got my first cybersex experience, which looking back was
extremly lame.
I got a part time job at Kroger and met my life long friend Chris Williams who I found out was the computer enthusiest I always wanted to be.
He was more advanced with computers than anyone I had ever met by miles and miles and he showed me all the things that the mainstream public
didnt know about at the time like downloading full hollywood movies, full commercial games and of course the best porn movies available on the
net.He also had some of the best computer equipment on the market and a high speed cable connection that was just starting to evolve at that time.Chris
was very patient with my computer questions and showed me all the things I had missed.
I eventually started wanting to be on his level with computers and I started tinkering with software and hardware upgrades for my computer
which was concered cheap and generic by computer enthusiests.I got so engrossed I stole over 500 dollars worth of computer equipment and
software to upgrade my computer with.My poor little generic computer couldnt take my novice skills and I eventually shorted out the motherboard.
Chris was kind enough to sell me his pentium 3 500 motherboard with processor fairly cheap which was considered mid level at the time but was alot more
user friendly as well as upgrade friendly and twice as fast as my Emachine.I put all my stolen parts into the
computer and got high speed internet and around October 2001 I started crossed the line from regular user to enthusiast.
The Computer Chris helped me build with my parts and his motherboard/cpu we nicknamed the Cwicebox,he put Windows 2000 Proffesional on my system which was
the best OS at the time as well as the good software he used himself.I learned more and more about computers each day hanging out with him and doing research
of my own on my own computer.I started getting into the pirating aspect of the internet as well as the high speed online gaming.I enjoyed it so much that
TV was no longer my main source of entertainment at home.
Since my social life had been negleted during that time I used the internet my way to meet girls.I ended up becomming an online pimp going into chatrooms on AOL
and Yahoo looking for girls to have sex with, for some reason I was very successful at conviencing girls to met me even if I had to drive across my home state of
Tennessee to do so.because of the internet and modern computing I was able to have sex finally in my life and meet people from all walks of life who just happened
to be on the internet as well.I had alot of fun doing so since it was like a game on the computer that materalized in real life with a big payoff any straight red blooded
american man would love.To be fair alot of the girls were either overweight/ugly or both, but I didnt care,I was getting more tail than a toilet seat and could tell girls
right off the bat what I wanted without the awkward feelings that go along with it when you try to say it in real life.It was perfect for me at the time.
Fast Forward to 2003.I had became roomates with local gas station attendent who happened to be in the navy as a radio man and major computer enthusiest at one time but no
longer was into the computer world. When I lived with him I got access to alot of computer parts that I still use to this day.I didnt learn much computer knowledge from
him since he was burned out on the computer world and was more concerned about drinking and **** his girlfriend and had forgot almost all his knowledge but it
still was a good experience getting to go through his old hardware and software which only 3 years earlier was considered pretty nice collection from a seasoned computer enthusiest standpoint.
I got to get alot of his old computer systems up and running and ended up selling one to someone I worked with more than its real worth.I also ended up breaking a few I had gotten from
other places but it taught me alot for the future by simple trial and error. When I moved out of his house in late summer 2003 I got to keep alot of his software and computer parts that
he had given me to add to my collection to use for future use's,some of them I bought dirt cheap and ended up using in my Cwicebox.
In early 2004 I decided I probably needed an upgrade on my computer but I never had a steady job to pay for a new system.I ended up stealing a plasma monitor and upgrading cheap things
such as the keyboard and mouse.I also had gotten a new black case for my computer to rest in to live out the remainder of its life in my new residence back at my fathers. In late 2004 things
had gone down south in my life and in a fit of anger I slammed my computer on the ground many times breaking the motherboard/cpu and video card in the process thinking the computer
was the cause of it all.I didnt have my own computer or internet for about 2 months and worked on getting my life together and seeing if that was really the cause of my problems.
When me and Chris and another friend got an apartment in December 2004,Chris found an old gateway 266MHZ computer in his old girlfriends attic and gave it to me so I would have something to use
until I got my new system.I put my working parts from my old computer in it and we got roadrunner at the apartment with me using it mainly to browse the net in the meantime.I tried getting
the onboard video drivers for it but the company who made them was no longer in buisness so I couldnt play any games that required Direct X which almost all my games I played did, even the older
ones from the Windows 95 days.I got flustrated one night trying to put a video card in it which windows refused to boot up with it in the system and ended up shorting the computer.I was sad
I had no computer again but I knew it was long overdue to get a new system.
I ordered a AMD Sempron 2400 Motherboard/CPU combo of the net which is around 1.7 GHZ which will be perfect for what I am wanting to do now in computing,I will let yall know how it works out.
