In this interview (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/03/11/news_6120358.html?part=rss&tag=gs_news&subj=6120358) with GameSpot, Nintendo VP, Sales and Marketing, Reggie Fils-Aimé, says that Wario Ware Twisted! is delayed till E3 or so, due to technical problems.

Just import it. I've had it since like October, and have come to enjoy Wario Ware more in Japanese. I like not knowing what the heck I'm supposed to be doing.

Also, Twisted is my favorite out of the three.

Thanks for the heads up! I have a feeling that it just gotta be even funnier in Japanese... it's not like it's that American to start with (remember the use of Japanese letters in the first Wario Ware?)

If it's out in Japan already, then what kind of technical difficulty may delay its release here? Localization issues perhaps?

Another Warioware for GBA.

It's basically Wario Ware 3 (the GameCube version doesn't really count as it was mostly the original Wario Ware revisited).

Wario Ware is a game containing hundreds of microgames that you must complete in a few seconds. The instructions are very vague and the games vary greatly, from patting a dog to putting a finger up the nose to getting Link to enter a cave in the original Legend of Zelda, etc. There are lots of humor in the game and it's also highly self-referential (references to the Famicom, the Game and Watch and even earlier Nintendo toys like the Ultra Hand).

Wario Ware Twisted is a GBA game. In that version, you play the microgames by turning around your GBA thanks to a sensor integrated into the cart (dunno whether the game is compatible with the DS, though). It was supposed to be released in North America next week, but it was postponed till May.

That was the one new GBA game I've been looking forward to. :(

Twisted is supposed to work in the DS.

I'm wondering though, do you set in game whether or not it's running on an SP style setup or an Advance setup? You know, which way the cart slot is facing.

I played it in my SP (since this was way before the DS was even out), it seemed to just kind of know.

And to correct a post from Lady Jaye a little earlier, Twisted is actually considered the second game in the series, Touched is the third.

Also, I wouldn't recommend playing this in your DS. It works fine, sure, but you're going to be cursing your DS if you play competitively in the hardest levels. Twisting an entire DS around in full circles very, very quickly is not easy to do.

Thanks for the correction, RedEye. True, true... I forgot that the release calendar for the new Wario Ware games were reversed here compared to the Japanese market.

As for using the DS for playing it... considering that the DS is noticeably heavier than the GBA, that'd be a good way of ending up with wrist injuries. :P

Has this been released yet? Has anyone gotten it? How is it? I'm a huge fan of the first Wario Ware game and I've been wanting to get this game (in English!) but I only have the SP version of GBA--how does it work in the SP? Am I going to need to get the original version of the GBA to play it? (Looks like I'll have to do that anyway if I ever want to use my Animal Crossing cards with the e-Reader.)

How does it work with the Gameboy Player for the Gamecube? (Hyuk hyuk!)

Yes, it's out.

I havent played it.

It is totally compatible with the SP.

The e-reader is also totally compatible with the SP. I have used my SP to scan animal crossing cards into the game.

Yep, I had note my copy was shipped today.

My copy arrived yesterday, and I've been done with story mode for half a day or so. It's fun, and there are TONS of unlockable extras, but the main game doesn't last too too long.

Wario Ware was a great game. I can't wait to see Twisted. I don't think I'd like to play it in Japanese, tho, so I'll wait.

What is your favorite mini-game on Wario Ware?! For some reason I like the one where you cut a steak open. Looks so juicy. I also like the one where you sniff snots up the girls nose.

Well, it's out in English.
