Hey,

About some time ago, I bought a yellowed SNES for the sole purpose of fixing it up. I painted it blue, and modded it to play Japanese games. But now, I think I'd like an actual Super Famicom instead, so I'm offering it up here if anybody wants it.

This is a Model 1 SNES that plays both regions dandy. I realize that the painting job I did on this was not really professional-like, but it looks good from where I'm standing (and it certainly is better than that yucky old yellow). I also didn't paint the back of it, for fear of getting paint into the machinery.

Some pictures for the curious:

As for a price? I have no idea, to be honest. Just hit me up with an offer, and if it sounds good, I'll take it.

Thanks! :)

It's spraypaint. I basically had to make do with what I had at the moment, and it was more of a first attempt for me anyways.

Why didn't you take the system apart before painting it? Would have looked much better without the mistakes. Better luck next MOD AKA you broke 2 small peices of plastic off the inside of the cart slot. You want to see a SNES MOD? This is a SNES MOD:

I painted my Genesis red...and I used crappy paint that was just lying around...Why? Similar reason - it was dirty and looks shitty. So it looks better now than it did before...

So I, for one, will say "good job", because it's better IMO than yellow (eww).

I'd take it if I needed another SNES :).
