Went to the fleamarket for the first time this year, but they only had games that were wet from the rain :/ Found G.Darius for PS1 at EB though, as well as Sanvein, but I didn't pick it up because I didn't know that it only had a budget release. I'll grab it next week, need more shmups :D

The boxed SNES adapter and complete DBZ 3 were shrinked together for $9.99, I found the loose Street Fighter for $4.99 in another part of the store. No other SFC stuff to be found in the store, but I'm not complaining. I also picked up a PS2 game I had never heard of before...Life Line. A survival/horror game that's completely microphone controlled...I'm thinking Resident Evil meets Seaman. LOL Anyway, for seven bucks I figured it would be worth a try, and possibly a future rarity.

Got a PSP pre-order from Gamerush after trading in a bunch of crap games thanks to the "trade 3, get an extra $5 per game" deal going on right now. Racked up $75 in credit alone from that. :P

My original PS2 finally bit the dust after 4 years and two trips to Sony to be fixed.
So went out and got the slim model version at my local Wally World (Wal-Mart)
They had a Sony rep demoing GT4 with a bunch of freebies for the customers. So I picked up:

Playstation pen

He was also giving away hats and t-shirts for people playing the game but I didn't have the time.

Just some Genesis and SNES games. I also am thinking about boycotting GameCraze (not GameCrazy) after getting yet more dirty SNES games (the place is a dump, the leave their carts out on shelves which isn't wierd or anything but the filth and dust just collects and they never clean the place)

Sorry to hear that, it's such a great game, I love it to death. I've always wondered about randomly non working genesis carts. My golden axe 2 (until I replaced it) would show the boot up credits and then nothing. I played Grind Stormer today as well and whenever I get a powerup it freezes :*(.

Haven't been looking this weekend but I did scam EB Games and pick up Vice City for the Xbox that had been mislabeled as the PS2 version. Therefore, instead of $30, it only cost me $9. 8-) Sounds awesome with my new surround system, which I got for free... well I got the Denon receiver for free and a set of Sharp surround sound speakers for $12 from Goodwill. So actually, not a bad weekend!

As soon as I walked in the crowded flea Market saw a kid putting a SNES boxed DKC system in a bag..I just missed it..But,I asked her how much she/the vendor wanted $45.00 for a trashed N64 system so I don't thnk the kid got a great deal on it...

I spent about $100.00 at the Flea market on Misc Stuff plus..$30.00 on my Son on Misc Diecast Cars..One box I bought had over 50 new condition Hotwheel and Matchbox cars in it..That was $15.00

This guy couldn't get rid of me he had so much stuff....
He had stacks of these VCR's..all the Same types/Models.. Sharp & Panasonics...The more you buy the less they are..
Crazy thing is..Every VCR had these Evidence Sticker on the side..Mine had a Japanese VHSTape in it..Looks to be either Japanese Soaps or Porno.(I have to look)
They had the Japanese VHS sets of what looked to be soaps or..they also had Porno flicks so...
After looking at the mass amounts of stuff these people had I think they bought out some sort of Police Auction.

I've been doing really well w/ thrift stores the past few weeks. Today I decided to hit my first flea market of the season and boy was it worth it.

I've got a bunch of pictires but rather than post them I'll just provide links to them for those who are on dial up connections.

When I got to the flea market I asked one of the regulars that I often visit if he'd gotten anything new over the winter that I'd be interested in. He told me that he had a few boxes of stuff that someone esle was supposed to have picked up but never did and that I can take them if I wanted them. Everything for $50.00. :evil:

Upon my first glane I saw a few things that instantly told me that this was well worth it. So without even digging further into the boxes to see what else was there I did my best to hold back the drool and paid the man. Here's wat I ended up with.

I'm still sorting things out and putting away things right now so I'm not totally sure. :D

There are 89 loose carts but there's a huge manilla envelope that I found thats full of manuals. There are 78 game boxes, most have games in them and some of them belond to some of the loose games. Again, I don't know for sure but there are easily 125+.

Yeah Yahoo Japan is where I mostly get my stuff these days, unless there's a really good deal domestically.... however some of the stuff I'm looking for never pops up on ebay here so it's a must I go look over there or ask my favorite importer if he's got one locked away. It may be a pain to pay the excessive middle man fees and "double" shipping costs but it's an utter gold mine of stuff over there.

These days I don't care too much for US/Euro versions of games (unless I really want to play it and don't want to pay too much or... it's an RPG). IMHO can't beat the packaging/art and sometimes better untampered with game itself on a jpn version. Example: the butchered version of Contra on the US 8bit NES or what could be Legend of Kage II as Demon Sword here in the US? Geeze come on.... what kind of bullshit is that? Oh and the utterly lame pseudo-realistic cover art.... who's the tasteless manager that approves this crap? Once again, this is just my opinion... some people might actually like all this "conversion".

Turok Evolution (At 2.50, thought i'd give it a spin)

My weekend was saved at the last minute (in a manner of speaking). Yesterday, went to K-Mart. Nothing. Went to TRU. Nothing. Went to EB & all they had was Threads of Fate (PSX) for $15, so I snapped it up. Not a bargain, but I don't see it around here much & it was mint, so fuquit. Couldn't go to my flea mkt 'cause it's on the same route as the St. Pattys parade which was going on today so I resigned to call the weekend lame. Later on today, at a buddy's poker game, my bud Mike shows up with this system he said he was gonna give me for the last month. He kept telling me it was a Dreamcast & I could always use a spare, so that was cool. Mike gets knocked out of the game early & leaves me with a backpack. So I peek inside & this Dreamcast turns out to be a Genesis Model 1 "High Definition Graphics" with no copyright screen under which sat a completely operational Model 1 Sega CD & to top off the dessert, a Power Base Convertor as well as a Great Footbal (SMS) cart and a nifty Sewer Shark coaster, which was still in the Sega CD. And after all that, I won $80 from the game. Just when I thought the weekend sucked... :bday:

Today I got a loose working Mega Turrican at EB!!!! YAY! Also, at the same store I finally bought one of those like new used copies of F-Zero GX. You know, those ones that people who had no idea how challenging the game was played it once, maybe twice, then brought it back for store credit?

Scratching more games off my list of buy later cheap/wanted games.

I took advantage of Gamestops Buy two used games get one free..Getting the PDO free.
(Plus savings with Discount Card)($34.32 total)

Blowout I bought separately Used for $5.00-$4.76 & they gave me a new/sealed copy but the guy stuck a Used Sticker on the back)on the factory seal wrapper.
I guess he didn't want to go fetch the used copy but had to put a used sticker on it for some reason.(??)
When I open it I won't have to peel it off since it's on the factory seal wrapper.

ARCADIA:
In that same Mall I bought the Arcadia at Kay Bee,.. I saw it last week,but didn't want to lug around.(It's a big Box)

I took a ride to a never been to Target and tank's to DP I remembered someone saying something about them being $10.00 at Target.
I looked around and found 4 on a shelf..It says $19.99 on the Red Sticker but scans at $10.00

I'm in Syracuse. The one I visit is a very small and cramped one found in a corner of Carousel Mall. I believe there is another one not to far in DeWitt that I mgiht have to visit someday.

If you ever come to Rochester there is one really good one that i visit now and then but there are better stores around
