I recently got an Atari 2600. I have never owned one before so I'm not sure how it works.
I plugged in the power, but where do I plug the video cable? It doesnt fit in the antenna input so I tried the video in, but I got no picture.
Is it broken? Is there any way you can find out if its turned on or off?

Uhm your using an old style RF-adaptor right? That's what Atari 2600 uses, an RF adaptor to TV..................

Hm.. probly, but the only place i can find to plug it in is in the video in input.
Doesnt it work on a new TV?

Ok, thanks for the answers :)
After you use the female phono-to-coax adapter, where do you plug it in then?
Also, could it be the power supply that is broken? If so, how do I check this?

Once you get the phono-to-coax adapter, you can plug it into your cable input. Only then will you know if your power supply works.
